Borrowing directly from the concepts upon which restorative agriculture is based, we have the ability to support reforestation efforts through application of pelletized organic fertilizers derived from our digestion process. When we mix that with biochar you get the nutritional supplement for forest health.
With a combination of sustainable practices we support, it becomes possible to manage forest resouces responsibly for long term health and productivity.
- Removing biomass fuel from forested areas and using the material to make biogas.
- Retrieving slash, trimmings and other forest residuals from harvested areas for the 4-SAD process.
- Harvesting un-merchantable timber such as insect and fire damaged materials.
- Provding mill wastes such as sawdust, shavings and hog fuel.
- Removing the energy from residual biomass through anaerobic digestion.
- Mixing digestate with biochar, pelletizing, and applying to forested areas.
