CONVERTING ORGANIC BIOMASS INTO BIOCOAL

BioCoal is the future of biomass energy. Utilizing a Modified HydroThermal Carbonization process any organic material can upgraded into a net-zero replacement for mineral coal for use in steel, cement and power production.

Unlike Pryolysis or Torrefaction, PSB does not require biomass feedstock to be dewatered before processing. This way energy is not wasted drying material just so it can processed.   
Utilizing difficult to handle organic residuals such as municipal biosolids, manure and digestate of up to 80% m.c. can be processed to produce a drop-in replacement for coal.   Just think about that…     
To date we have built a proof of concept that validated the technology leading to the next project step: Transportable Pilot Plant (TPP).
